Man Posing As Charity Worker Exposed Himself To Children In PA: Police

A man pretending to be a charity worker exposed himself to children on a Philadelphia street, police announced on Friday, March 21.

Leroy Taylor, 51, was arrested on the 600 block of Raymond Street in connection with the incident, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

Officers from the 7th District responded to the 1900 block of Benton Street at 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, after receiving reports of a man exposing himself, authorities said. He was allegedly posing as a charity worker when he exposed himself to minors, investigators with the Special Victims Unit said.

Taylor has been charged with two counts each of:

  • Felony Contact With a Minor.
  • Felony Corruption of Minors.
  • Misdemeanor Indecent Exposure.
  • Misdemeanor Open Lewdness.

The investigation remains ongoing.
